The land is destroyed. There is nothing left for anything to thrive on, nothing, humans wiped out, the fish, insects and birds all gone, but one creature remains. The equine. They have scattered about, forming separate tribes, bands, bloodthirsty and uncontrollable. There is nothing that will stop them from tasting the metallic blood on their kissers, the bones of others snapping in their jaws. The equines have turned bloodthirsty as nothing else survived. A thick smog covers the land, blocking out the harmful sun rays, closing in the poisonous gases. The land is in ruins, nothing else remains except for the skeletons of equines and the moans of others dying, for the horses who inhabit this land are no better off. Thin and weak they push on, fighting daily, dying slowly. Neither herd has gained and neither herd has lost they are still fighting each other here today, still trying to gain the land. Each herd following the foot steps of whom they chose to follow, will the suffering ever end? Will there ever be peace again?

This is where loner stags can find a herd. All equines of their different beliefs come here and fights may break out, ending in a death or injury. This small area of land over looks the sea below, only a mere drop of two-hundred feet, so don’t step to close to the edge or face your death with a broken body among the dagger-like rocks. There are often small bands of loner brutes that form, each with their different ideas of how things should run. Brutes that stand-alone are often searched out quickly to insure they are no danger to the others and some may be required to pass difficult tests to fit in.
This is where wenches can go in order to find a tribe. The Path-takers and the Followers are located in the same area, while the Outcasts are located in another terra. Hopefully all those who enter here will leave with a stag, while some may not, and even others may not even have wanted to come here in the first place. These lands can often be heard of mockery and small brawls that break out between the different believers.
This terra is open to all, no matter their beliefs, even though this may cause a disagreement or two, there is no fighting allowed here. Mates may come here to start a family, or slaves with their masters to be bred. Force breeding is allowed here and you don't have to worry about carnivores as the area is surrounded by mountains and only accessible for the equines.
This is Death Bay, the first blood fell here, the first horse was slain and fell to it's sandy ground. This was the original fighting ground. From that point on it was all down hill, more deaths followed until the entire bay was covered with the skeletons of those who died. Now the equines who come here only look for death themselves or to grieve for the ones they lost. The bay has been transformed, from one stunning in beauty to one of death and horrible screams. The blue water has been turned a murky red sweeping over the bodies of those slain, fighting for a cause.
This is a haunted part of Zahaana where most believers hang out. It is a very thick, dense forest with a smog that forever hangs over it like a veil. There aren't any sources of water the flow through here and hardly anything to eat, but it's a favorite killing ground of some as it leaves no trace. Outcast equines can come here for a thrill or if they have been sentenced for death, but other wise stay out.
This is the only place not scattered with blood or carcasses, although brawls still break out here, it is not noticeable as the spring washes away any blood spilled. A quiet spring bubbles out of the ground creating a peaceful place, come here to heal open wounds and broken hearts. There is total silence in this area, save the bubbling from the spring, creating a peaceful land. If you are wounded come here as it may heal some of your wounds, or at least keep them from becoming infected.
This is the only place in all of Zahaana that is safe for each inhabitant. There are a few stands of trees that will protect each equine that enters the fields, no predators ever enter this area. Some say there is a charm that keeps the canines and felines away but most don't believe that. This is the only place where the blood of war hasn't been spilled, so keep the peace. This is where mare may have their foals and stay until they have grown strong enough to fight their own way.
This is where all the major battles take place. It is on top of a small hill, there are boulders that surround the flattened ring, allowing no one to escape, unless they climb up the sides. There is one small opening to get in, but it closes when the battle starts and opens when there is a declared winner. Every battle here has never ended with out at least one equine dying, so there are bloodstains scattered about on the ground, unable to wash away even with the slight rain falls that happen. There are also bloodstains on the rocks that surround the ring. It is a place most fear to come, but some live for the soft turf under their daggers anticipating what will come.
This is where the outcasts live, they are shunned from venturing to either herd, they have been the rejects of society, thought to be not strong enough to choose the path they will follow. They live in constant fear and hope that one day the fighting will be resolved, and that maybe one of their ideas, one of their own can bring the fighting to an end. So maybe, just maybe they are the strongest of them all.
This is where the equines who follow Frenzy. These animals, you can hardly call them that, live in the mountains, all three herds residing here calling for unstable footing and dangerous cliffs. If you choose to live here make sure you can withstand the intense temperatures and high altitudes.
These equines here choose to follow Xicution. They are quick to fight and won't stop until their victim is dead, they are nasty and unruly, uncaring and despicable. These lands are less dangerous compared to the Reckless Souls, yet just as trying. Set on the plains and valleys of those above them, these equines are in constant fear and fight of the followers of Frenzy.
